Shopify Rebellion Gold beat KRÜ Blaze 2-0 on Tuesday 27 October in the second upper bracket semi-final of the VCT Game Changers Championship 2026. They have not dropped a map at the event so far.
Neither map was quick. The first ran to 47 minutes and the second to 44, but Shopify Rebellion Gold took both to close out the best-of-three without needing a decider.

On the power rankings this was the expected result. Shopify Rebellion Gold sit 5th with a rating of 1820 from a 40-19 record across 59 rated matches. KRÜ Blaze are 52nd on 1658, although their 60-21 record from 81 rated matches shows how much the Argentine-based side have been winning in their own region.
That regional form carried them a long way. Before Tuesday, KRÜ had won five series in a row: three in the Latin America South Main Event against NPC Team and Looking For Laburo, a 3-1 win over Akave Esports Black in the Latin America Regional Final, and a 2-1 upper bracket quarter-final win over Gen.G GC here. The run stops at five.
Six straight series wins for Shopify Rebellion Gold
Shopify Rebellion Gold arrived with momentum of their own. Their North America Stage 2 campaign brought 2-0 wins over HIMMERS and SwimTrek Blue, followed by 2-1 and 3-1 victories over FlyQuest RED. At the Championship they opened with a 2-0 quarter-final win over SK Nebula before Tuesday’s sweep.
That makes six consecutive series won. Four of them ended without a map conceded.
The quarter-final opponent has since rebuilt in the lower bracket. SK Nebula beat FENNEL Female 2-0 in Lower Bracket Round 2, while Team Liquid Brazil have won twice there, beating Nova Esports GC and G2 Gozen 2-0 each time. Gen.G GC, KRÜ’s quarter-final victims, went out after a 2-1 defeat by FENNEL Female in Lower Bracket Round 1.
Gentle Mates GC wait on Friday 30 October
The upper bracket final pits Shopify Rebellion Gold against Gentle Mates GC on Friday 30 October. Gentle Mates booked their place with a 2-0 win over MIBR GC in the first semi-final, so both finalists come in having swept their last-four opponents.
The event runs until 1 November. For Shopify Rebellion Gold, a seventh straight series win on Friday would put them into the grand final.
